Inauguration of the bookstore
The Institut de France inaugurates its bookstore, named ‘Les Immortels,’ on Quai de Conti. The project, desired by Chancellor Xavier Darcos, is part of the initiative to restore a part of the original soul to the Palais du Quai de Conti. Situated in a newly arranged space of 50m2 at 23 Quai de Conti, facing the Pont des Arts with large windows overlooking the new passage, the bookstore ‘Les Immortels’ showcases the latest publications from the Academicians and the Institut de France, as well as its heritage and cultural activities.
